Close Up of the Merit Jersey Pattern Felling Axe After Re-Hang
This is a very old axe head, about 90 years old. When cleaning her up I chose to leave this axe with as much character as I could. She really is a pleasure to swing. I just hope that I don’t break this handle as it was a pain to contour around the lugs.
